Being a happy mother, enjoying life in its simplicity with my daughter i realised that nothing can be taken for granted when I had to go for Radical Hysterectomy at Sunway Medical Centre recently where i was diagnosed with 2nd stage Ca ovary. I cannot recommend Dr. Ranges highly enough. I underwent a robotic-assisted hysterectomy, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr. Ranges took the time to thoroughly explain both the procedure and the technology, which immediately put me at ease. I can honestly say it was such a positive experience my recovery was significantly faster than laparoscopic surgery, and I was back on my feet in no time. I truly can’t recommend robotic surgery enough.

This is truly an honest review. Credit should be given when credit is due. I went to see Dr Thanges to remove a large fibroid. I had a lot of concerns.
Dr Thanges has a very welcoming and bubbly personality. He created a safe space to share my worries. He welcomed any questions I had and was willing to explain them in detail. He explained them in layman terms so it was easier to understand. He never rushed the appointments and always ensured I left the room with a peace of mind. He made it easy to trust him.
Pre and post surgery, he came to check in on me several times ensuring I was comfortable and easing my nerves before the op.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Dr. Thangesweran, who successfully completed surgery for my mum’s stage 4 endometrial cancer in October 2025.
Before meeting him, we had consulted several hospitals in Johor, but none were able to help due to my mum’s heart condition. We were then referred to Dr. Thangesweran and decided to proceed with the Mirena coil insertion. Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful as the cancer cells continued to grow rapidly even after chemotherapy within 9 months.
With his advice and guidance, we proceeded with the surgery and now my mum is recovering well.

I had robotic surgery for ovarian cystectomy and hysterectomy on October 2025 due to severe endometriosis. The date was near Deepavali but he said don't worry. I was suffering with heavy menstrual bleeding due to fibroids. Came across Dr Thanges at Sunway Medical Centre and fixed an appoinment to consult him. He listened patiently to my problems and advise me to proceed with surgery to remove the fibroids using latest technology which is robotic surgery. Dr Thanges is expertise in robotic surgery. Ever since the first consultation, I gained confidence with his clear explanation about the treatment plans and benefits of having the robotic surgery such as minimal invasive and faster recovery. The surgery was sucessful. I had less pain and managed to walk by myself next day after the surgery. Dr Thanges was very caring, humble and kind doctor. He really took care of me very well throughout my stay at hospital. During post surgery check ups, he checked my recovery process and answer all my questions without any hesitations.
